A glimpse on Enterprise 2.0

With the advent of Information technology, various enterprises have been facing the challenge to sustain the overwhelming needs towards the expectations arising from their business partners, firms and customers. Enterprises have been making use of social software platforms in order to build common business competencies for corporate blogging, marketing, internal communications to generate new ideas and to improve the business processes. It’s quite fascinating to know the techniques implemented by the enterprises and what betterment they can achieve with the acquiescence of Enterprise 2.0 in the near future. Putting together my opinions, I would quote that "Enterprise agility and dynamism can be earned by utilizing emerging social software platforms in an effective manner and not just by focusing on the business infrastructure".

My objective is to setup a Blog which presents information on the current trends followed in the corporate world to keep their digital presence intact. In addition to that, I would also like to enlighten the readers on the emerging technologies which when incorporated with Enterprise 2.0 can constitute a new Digital experience. Over the years I have cultivated an obsession of reading journals, newsletters and scientific fictions in the field of Computer Science. However, I had never thought of creating a Blog where I could share my views and ideas on the ongoing technological development. With the creation of this Blog I finally feel that this would be the perfect platform to share the technological advancement. Also, I am looking forward to welcome all the visitors of my blog to put forth their views and opinions, where everyone could share and gain knowledge on Information Technology. Creation of this Blog is like a dream come true for me. This would be a stepping stone towards the formation of an internet community, where people participate actively in sharing and gaining knowledge and all thanks to Mr. Callam Porch for coming up with such a brilliant idea of Blogging!

I will actively post articles related to technology on a regular basis which are popular, controversial, and unrealistic to believe. This would certainly bring about interactions, discussions and participation between the readers of my Blog thus keeping my Blog active and alive. I will be including videos and images rather than plain text, so that the readers experience a better look and feel of my Blog. I would also request readers who are having similar interests in Technology to come up with new posts and articles in my Blog thus contributing and sharing knowledge which can lead to social circles who have similar thoughts and ideology. Further I will be categorizing news and articles on Technology based on three factors such as ‘New stuff’, ‘Hot stuff’ and the ‘Next big thing’.

Since I have newly stepped into the world of Blogging, I browsed for few Blogs which have been successful and popular. After doing a keen research on how these Bloggers maintain and attract more visitors to their Blogs I have come up with the conclusion that ‘It’s the way a Blogger publicizes his Blog which is important, rather than the way he Blogs’. The reason behind this is, I came across many Blogs where the content and appearance was fascinating and impressive, however due to the lack of publicizing skills of the Blogger very few knew that the Blog existed! 

The Blog which truly inspired me was http://www.extremetech.com/ . If you go through the Blog you will notice how widely they have managed the information pertaining to various technological aspects. Such a Blog can attract visitors from different areas of interests where they can read articles and posts from various sectors and not just one in specific. Another factor which you can observe in the blog is that they have publicized their posts over social networking platforms like Facebook, Google+, and Twitter through which they have gained more popularity. So all together it gives us an idea on how Enterprise 2.0 can play a vital role in establishing Digital presence for an individual or a corporate sector in the society. I hope that someday soon I shall have a better Blog than the Blog which truly inspired and triggered this idea in me.
